Pancho Varona brings his own songs and compositions written with Joaquín Sabina and other leading Spanish artists to the stage.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Pancho Varona is a musician, songwriter and producer whose work has been closely connected with Joaquín Sabina since the 1980s. He has played guitar in Sabina’s band and co-written songs across his career. His live shows draw on his own material as well as songs he has written for other performers, with the focus on the music and the stories behind it.
The set may feature well-known compositions such as «Contigo», «Y sin embargo», «Peces de ciudad», «La del pirata cojo» and «19 días y 500 noches». Varona has also written songs for Luz Casal and Ana Belén, among others. His catalogue spans generations of Spanish music, making the performance a song-led choice for audiences familiar with these artists.
The music sits between Spanish singer-songwriter tradition and pop. Alongside his work with Sabina, Varona has written and produced for Víctor Manuel, Miguel Ríos and Pablo Milanés. The specific selection depends on the show format.
