Orishas fuse hip hop and traditional Cuban music, pairing rap with social commentary and songs from their back catalogue.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Orishas are a Cuban group combining hip hop with traditional Cuban music. Their sound pairs rap with the character of Cuban musical heritage, moving between socially conscious lyrics and lighter themes.
The line-up features Yotuel Romero, Hiram Riverí, Roldán González and Liván Núñez. Their releases include A Lo Cubano, Emigrante and El Kilo, as well as Antidiótico and Cosita Buena. Songs linked to the group include «A Lo Cubano», «Mi Habana», «Guajira», «Emigrante» and «El Kilo».
Orishas began their European journey in Paris. A Lo Cubano earned a gold disc in Spain, while Emigrante was nominated for a Grammy. In 2007 they worked with Calle 13 on «Pal Norte», which won a Grammy. After a seven-year break, they announced their return in 2016 and toured the United States, Spain and Germany.
The blend of rap and Cuban influences can work for town fiestas, weddings, corporate events and private celebrations looking for a full group performance with an established catalogue.
