Obús are a Madrid heavy metal band with a place in the story of Spanish rock. Active since 1980, they have more than four decades of experience and a discography spanning over ten albums. Their live show centres on the band's powerful sound and songs that have become part of Spanish rock history.
The line-up features Fortu Sánchez on vocals, Paco Laguna on guitar, Fernando Montesinos on bass and Carlos Mirat on drums. This full band format brings together voice, guitar, bass and drums for a live heavy metal performance.
Their associated songs include «Va a estallar el Obús», «Vamos muy bien», «Autopista», «Juego sucio», «Prepárate» and «A pico y pala». The band released «A pico y pala» in 2023. Their history also includes «Va a estallar el Obús» reaching number one in Los 40 Principales, and guest appearances by artists including Fito Cabrales, Carlos Tarque and Yosi on the live album «De Madrid al infierno».
Obús can suit town fiestas, festivals, private celebrations and corporate events looking for a heavy metal concert with an established catalogue. For weddings, they are a good fit when the couple wants live rock and expects guests who enjoy the genre.
