Marlango pairs Leonor Watling’s vocals with Alejandro Pelayo’s piano, blending jazz, blues, rock and cabaret influences.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Marlango brings together singer Leonor Watling and pianist Alejandro Pelayo. Their duo format suits organisers looking for a distinctive live music performance at a wedding, private party or corporate event.
Their sound moves between jazz, blues, rock and cabaret, with Latin jazz influences. Early releases were sung in English, while later work also included songs in Spanish. Marlango’s career spans six albums and collaborations with Rufus Wainwright, Suso Sáinz, Jorge Drexler, Fito Páez, La Santa Cecilia and Enrique Bunbury.
Possible repertoire includes «Dame la razón», «Dinero», «El porvenir», «Pequeño vals» and «Hold Me Tight», as well as «Semilla negra» and «Ay, pena, penita, pena».
The voice-and-piano format can work well at weddings, private celebrations, local festivals and corporate events seeking a performance shaped by jazz and pop songwriting. The set and event requirements can be discussed when planning the booking.
