Manu 'El Gamba' brings social comedy, an offbeat style and a distinctive stage persona to his stand-up set.
Manu 'El Gamba' performs stand-up with a strong stage persona. His set brings together social humour, an unmistakable look and an intentionally eccentric edge. He is a good fit for event organisers looking for a comedian with a clear point of view and a distinctive presence on stage.
He began working in comedy in November 2013 and has since appeared in national stand-up competitions. His stage character draws on mystery, pathos and social observation, giving the performance a recognisable tone.
The solo format can suit parties, private celebrations and comedy programmes looking to include a stand-up act. His style and stage image help set the performance apart within an event line-up.
His competition results include first place at events in Estepona and Villamediana de Iregua in 2017, as well as the Audience Award at the El Prat stand-up competition in 2016. He also won first places in Tomelloso and Olleros de Pisuerga, among other contests between 2014 and 2016.
