Maki, the stage name of José Antonio Velasco Ruiz (Huelva, 1979), is one of the leading names in Spanish urban flamenco and flamenco pop. He grew up in the Los Rosales neighbourhood of Huelva, signed with Warner Music in 2006, and that same summer Calé tunea took him across Spain. He has since released eleven albums and has twenty years of touring behind him.
Maki and María Artés are partners on and off stage: married since 2016, they have shared a musical project since 2009. Their Imperfectos and Pavi & Amén tours passed 120 concerts and 400,000 spectators, and in 2026 they celebrate two decades of career with 20 Conmigo, a joint show of more than two hours with their biggest hits, a live band and solo songs from each of them.
The tour opened on 25 April 2026 in Ibros (Jaén) and has played Cartagena, Dos Hermanas, Córdoba and Guadiana, with several sold-out dates. In autumn it reaches Valladolid and Santander, and 2027 dates are already announced in Málaga, Barcelona, Zaragoza and Salamanca. Free dates book up early, especially in festival season.
