That same year, 1992, José el Francés released the album Las calles de San Blas, a work that marked the start of his popularity and led to a solid discography of six albums, including Somos perfectos (1995), Alma (1999), Jugando al amor (2002), Agua de esperanza (2004) and Respirando amor (2009). All of them show a very personal style, blending flamenco with accessible lyrics and melodies that reach all kinds of audiences.
