La Mari leads Chambao’s blend of flamenco and ambient electronics, including well-known songs such as “Ahí estás tú”.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
La Mari fronts Chambao, the Málaga project known for bringing flamenco together with ambient electronic music in a style often called flamenco chill. The result combines flamenco roots with electronic textures in a distinctive sound that has reached audiences in Spain and beyond. It’s a strong option for organisers seeking a live performance with a clear musical identity and familiar songs.
Chambao began in Málaga in 2001. In the original line-up, La Mari worked with Daniel Casañ and El Edi, who contributed to composition and guitar. La Mari took the lead after the founding members left in 2005. Chambao has continued to develop its sound while retaining the meeting point between flamenco and electronics and its reflective tone.
The group’s songs include “Ahí estás tú”, “Pokito a poko”, “As de corazones”, “Papeles mojados”, “Duende del sur” and “Camino libre”. Their releases include the album “Endorfinas en la mente” and “En la cresta del ahora”, released in 2023. La Mari brings more than twenty years of experience as an artist.
The performance can work for town fiestas, festivals, corporate occasions and private celebrations. For weddings, it offers flamenco and electronic sounds for couples after a live act with a different feel from a traditional band.
