La Fuerza del Alma is a flamenco fusion show created by guitarist and composer Javier Moral. Ten performers bring together live music, vocals and dance, with shifts in pace and intensity that shape the mood throughout the performance.
The ensemble features two guitars, three flamenco singers, saxophone, percussion, a dancer and electric bass. Its sound moves through contrasting feelings, from joy to melancholy, while bringing flamenco roots into a contemporary setting. Javier Moral has higher-level training in flamenco guitar and experience as a musician and composer.
Flamenco provides the foundation, with other musical genres woven into the arrangement. Javier Moral writes the original material; the repertoire also includes pieces by Paco de Lucía. His influences include Paco de Lucía, Vicente Amigo and José Antonio Rodríguez.
