A comedy duo serving up fast, absurd humour in theatrical and monologue-style shows for parties, venues and private events.
Kuentaké is a comedy duo featuring Javi J. Palo and David García Palencia. Their quick-fire, absurd and conversational humour responds closely to the audience, creating a lively performance with a strong sense of connection.
With more than ten years of experience, they have toured across Spain and appeared on programmes for TVE, Antena 3 and Telemadrid. Their sets can take a theatrical approach or sit closer to stand-up, making them suitable for theatres, bars, venues, restaurants, private parties and public celebrations.
The format can be shaped around a more staged performance or a monologue-style set. The duo brings a distinctive perspective and direct delivery. The basic technical setup is straightforward: two microphones and a sound system.
Absurd comedy and brisk dialogue are at the heart of the act. Their influences include Faemino y Cansado, Monty Python and street life. The stage setup also allows for two stools and a small table. Lighting can use white front lights with blue and red cross-lighting, or clear white light so the performers remain visible.
