José Mota is a comedian and actor whose television and performance career makes him a comedy option for events.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
José Mota is a comedian, actor and voice actor. He first became known alongside Juan Muñoz as part of the comedy duo Cruz y Raya, appearing in television and radio programmes, specials and tours around Spain. Since 2007 he has pursued a solo career and has presented José Mota presenta on TVE.
His work spans comedy and acting. His film credits include La chispa de la vida and Torrente 3; his role in the former earned him a Goya nomination for best newcomer actor. He has also voiced animated characters in films including Mulan, Shrek and Monstruos S.A.
His first stage show with Juan Muñoz was 60 personajes en busca de humor. Television series such as La hora de José Mota and José Mota presenta further established his comedy career. His experience as a comedian and actor offers a strong foundation for an entertainment-led performance.
He may be a good fit for celebrations and parties looking to include comedy, as well as corporate and private events where a humorous act suits the audience.
