Stand-up comedy on everyday gripes and millennial culture, from a comedian, writer and digital content creator.
Jorge Yorya is a comedian, writer and content creator whose work centres on stand-up. His performance can suit a theatre setting or a Twitch livestream, allowing the format to be considered for the venue and event.
In Lágrimas de pollo, he brings together jokes and everyday complaints through a millennial lens. The show develops over time, using grumbling as a starting point for comedy and delivering the material straight to the audience.
He has recorded stand-up for Comedy Central and Phi Beta Lambda, where he has also organised and hosted recordings. He releases monologues on YouTube and develops comedy formats. His podcast work includes Comedia Perpetua for SER, Tanta Paz Lleven for Podimo and Movidas Minúsculas for Phi Beta Lambda Podcast. He has also contributed to Anda Ya on Los 40 and appears alongside David Suárez on Directos en Directo.
His work can fit theatre comedy programmes and live entertainment formats. His experience across stand-up, podcasts and digital content gives organisers different contexts to consider for events and parties.
