Joaquín Padilla’s Covers Band pairs Iguana Tango favourites with well-known hits from the 1980s and 1990s.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Joaquín Padilla is a Spanish singer, songwriter and producer, recognised for fronting Iguana Tango and for singing with the band on Antena 3’s La Ruleta de la Fortuna. With his Covers Band, he brings together songs from his career and familiar versions from earlier decades.
The live set features some of Iguana Tango’s best-known songs alongside covers from the 1980s and 1990s. It is a concert format built around recognisable music and an energetic live performance.
Padilla and Iguana Tango found success in Spanish pop rock during the 2000s. Songs associated with the group include «Te perdí», «Olvídate de mí» and «Volverás». He also created the rock opera Legado de una Tragedia, which blends symphonic rock and heavy metal. The project has released five albums and featured contributions from prominent Spanish rock and metal musicians.
The Covers Band can work well at public celebrations and private events where guests enjoy pop rock and hits from the 80s and 90s. It is also an option for company events looking for a live music performance with a familiar set.
