A street band blending traditional jazz, funk and soul, with brass, saxophone and percussion.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Jambalaya Street Band brings together traditional jazz, funk, soul and New Orleans Second Line rhythms. Its sound is driven by trumpets and trombones, with saxophone solos and lively percussion. The group can perform on a stage or move through an event in parade format, making it a flexible choice for celebrations that call for live music with a strong brass presence.
Choose a staged set or a roaming street performance, depending on the venue and the flow of the occasion. Brass carries the melodies, saxophone adds space for featured solos, and percussion keeps the ensemble moving.
The repertoire draws on jazz and New Orleans traditions alongside funk and soul. The band suits town fiestas, carnival events, music gatherings and cultural centre celebrations. Its appearances include Manzaswing, the Móstoles Carnival parade and Mardi Gras celebrations at cultural centres.
