Spanish comedian, actor and writer Ernesto Sevilla brings sharp, dark stand-up and familiar comic characters to the stage.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Ernesto Sevilla is a Spanish comedian, actor and writer whose stand-up pairs sharp, dark humour with a distinctive comic sensibility he has described as «gañán». Audiences may also know his recurring characters and sketches from La Hora Chanante and Muchachada Nui.
His stage format centres on stand-up: personal delivery, biting observations and comic characters. Sevilla began his television career as a writer for Paramount Comedy and has appeared on programmes including Smonka!, El Club de la Comedia, Buenafuente and Pasapalabra. His acting work includes the series La que se avecina, in which he plays Teodoro Rivas, as well as Spanish comedy films such as Pagafantas, Spanish Movie and Torrente 4.
He has toured Viejóvenes with fellow comedian Joaquín Reyes and wrote for the series Museo Coconut. These stage and screen credits give context to a performance built around monologue, characters and gags.
His comedy may suit town fiestas, weddings, private celebrations and corporate events looking for a stand-up act with dark humour. Ask about the format and technical requirements when planning the booking.
