El Monaguillo has spent over 20 years performing comedy across radio, television, stand-up and theatre.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
El Monaguillo is the stage name of Sergio Fernández, a comedian, presenter and radio host with more than 20 years of experience. His work across several formats makes him a strong option for events looking to include live comedy from a familiar performer.
His career spans stand-up, radio, television, books and theatre. He began in radio at Onda Cero alongside José Luis Salas, and presented the late-night show “La Parroquia” with Arturo González-Campos for eight years. His television appearances include “Me resbala” and “El Hormiguero”.
In 2001, he was a finalist on “El Club de la Comedia”, followed by a tour of Spain with “Ciudadano cinéfilo”. He has also published eight books, including “Yo también fui a EGB… y tampoco fue pa’ tanto”. His theatre work includes productions with Arturo González-Campos and the play “Taxi”, alongside Josema Yuste and Alfredo Cernuda.
His comedy may suit festivals, private celebrations and corporate events. For weddings, ask about the show and format that would fit the occasion.
