Book Duque Ruiz for a distinctive live set

Duque Ruiz is the stage name of Antonio Ruiz, a singer and songwriter from Córdoba province. His original songs draw on personal experience and an interest in telling stories through music. Alongside his work in chirigotas, he has performed as a solo artist at local festivities, in a live music venue and at an end-of-term celebration.

Original songs with varied influences

The sound moves between pop, pop rock, flamenco, ballads and carnival pasodoble. The set can include material from his EP Ahora mismo, whose songs reflect his day-to-day experiences and view of the world. Horses are a recurring source of inspiration in his creative outlook, and his writing puts the words and the story at the centre.

Style and repertoire

Titles linked to his repertoire include «Sin mirar atrás», «Qué pasó, corazón», «Infamadurez», «Tal como somos», «Un hogar sin paredes» and «Mi conde y yo». The singer-songwriter influence gives the performance a focus on lyrics and interpretation.

Events that suit the performance

His solo format may suit local celebrations, private events and programmes looking for original songs with a range of Spanish musical influences. For weddings or corporate events, ask Vibra about the format and repertoire that would work for your plans.
