A female duo blending traditional flamenco, sevillanas and rumba with guitar, singing, percussion and dance.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Dúo Canasteras is a two-woman act in which both performers sing, play and dance. Guitar, vocals, percussion and dance come together in a show rooted in flamenco. The artists speak Spanish and English and have years of stage experience.
The repertoire spans traditional flamenco, sevillanas and rumba. Flamenco styles include tangos, farruca, bulerías, guajiras, alegrías and fandangos. The more upbeat set features sevillanas and rumba songs associated with artists such as Azúcar Moreno, Rosario Flores, Manzanita, Niña Pastori, Gipsy Kings, Camarón, María Jiménez and Celia Cruz.
The suggested format is a 30-minute set. The duo can suit parties, events, cruise ships and hotels. The technical setup calls for two chairs, microphones for vocals and percussion, microphone stands and amplifier monitoring. A level, even floor is needed; wood is preferred, and a stage or platform is considered suitable.
The price depends on the date, location, format and technical requirements. Get in touch for a no-obligation quote within 24 hours.
