Countertenor Diego Fuertes has classical vocal training and a repertoire including works by Monteverdi, Handel, Mozart and Bach.
Diego Fuertes is a countertenor from Logroño whose work focuses on classical vocal music. He began his musical studies on guitar before completing professional singing studies at the Conservatory of Music of La Rioja in 2016. Alongside his music training, he studied for a degree in Chemistry at the University of La Rioja.
The performance centres on his countertenor voice and works by composers from different periods. His repertoire has included music by Monteverdi, Purcell, Vivaldi, Handel, J. S. Bach, Gluck, Mozart and Beethoven, among others. This makes the format suitable for events seeking a classical vocal performance.
His profile offers a lyrical singing option for occasions that want to include live classical music. It may suit weddings, private functions or corporate gatherings where a vocal performance and classical repertoire fit the programme.
