Funktastic Band put their own spin on funk and disco classics, drawing on the music of the 1970s and 80s.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Funktastic Band perform a live set rooted in funk and disco. They bring their own character to well-known songs, arranging each cover while keeping the spirit of the original. Their sound looks to the dancefloor favourites of the 1970s and 80s.
The repertoire draws on funk’s golden era, with music associated with Earth Wind & Fire, Kool & The Gang and Stevie Wonder. It also features disco names including Gloria Gaynor, Crusaders, Donna Summer, The Jackson Five and Chic. The songs are reworked in the band’s own style while retaining their original feel.
The band format can work for local festivals, weddings, corporate events and private celebrations seeking live funk and disco. The set centres on recognisable classics from both styles.
