Dani Mares performs “Indignado”, a comedy show of over an hour about the everyday irritations we all recognise.
Valencian comedian and master of ceremonies Dani Mares builds his humour around familiar daily frustrations, delivered with an approachable, sharp edge. His show “Indignado” turns things such as misleading advertising and supermarket queues into material for more than an hour of stand-up. It steers clear of politics and focuses on the little things that get under our skin.
The performance mixes observation, memories and situations audiences may recognise from their own lives. New technology features in the show, alongside an energetic delivery, irony and a slightly cheeky tone. Dani Mares also has two other comedy shows: “Desmontando a Grey” and “Las cosas ya no son como antes”.
His career includes the audience prize at the Santa Pola monologue competition and a win at Valencia’s Humour Olympiad. His radio work includes Protagonistas Valencia and 5 minutos más, where he contributed the “la tertulia vintage” segment.
The monologue can fit festivals, private celebrations and corporate events looking to add live comedy. Dani Mares also works as a master of ceremonies at weddings, combining humour with a warm, sensitive approach.
