Charanga Proyecto X was formed in León by young musicians with musical experience. The band brings live music to local festivals and private occasions, with a broad repertoire spanning several genres.
The musicians play tenor and alto saxophones, trumpets, clarinets, trombones, tuba and percussion. This combination of brass, reeds and rhythm creates a live format for celebratory events. The members come from different age groups, have played in other brass bands and share a strong interest in music.
The set ranges across rock, pop and reggaeton, alongside classic tracks and current hits. Songs named in the repertoire include “La Ventanita” and “Maricarmen”, giving a sense of its mix of eras and styles.
