Spanish comedian, actor and presenter for private events, pubs, bars and theatres across Spain.
Carmelo González is a stand-up comedian, comic actor and presenter. His work spans comedy performances and hosting, with formats suited to private functions as well as pubs, bars and theatres. He can also act as a master of ceremonies.
His presenting credits include Fancine, the Málaga Fantastic Film Festival, a gala marking 25 years of university sport at UMA, and the Cortogenial short film festival. He has also hosted Open Mike nights at La Chistería Humor. This mix of comedy and event hosting makes him a candidate for programmes built around stand-up or occasions that need a confident presenter.
He has worked as a comedian and comic actor since 2009. He reached the semi-finals of the television programme «Un solo por favor» and won first prizes for comedy at Nerja Crea, ACME Comedia and Valhalla Comedy. He starred in Freixenet’s 2012 campaign advert with the «brindis por la crisis» after winning its Tu Brindis competition. His other work includes writing and presenting the alternative culture programme D10 for 73tv, and regular film contributions to the online podcast La base secreta.
Consider Carmelo for private events, parties, pubs, bars and theatres, or for a gala that needs a presenter or master of ceremonies. When enquiring, outline whether you are looking for a comedy set, event hosting or a combination of the two.
