Blast Wave play heavy metal with a forceful sound rooted in the classics and shaped by modern touches.
Formed in 2013, Blast Wave are a heavy metal band started by vocalist Jon. Their lyrics are in English, and musicians with different musical influences have helped shape the group’s sound.
Their music pairs the weight of classic heavy metal with more modern tones. After several changes to the line-up, the band settled into a stable formation and developed its sound. Their releases include the four-track demo Flames are getting closer and a three-track EP.
Blast Wave suit live music programmes, concerts and parties looking for a heavy metal performance. Their set is a good fit for audiences drawn to a powerful sound and English-language lyrics.
