Berriketan brings flamenco, txalaparta and dance together in a distinctive performance for cultural events and celebrations.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Berriketan presents Arima, the company’s second production. It brings flamenco together with txalaparta, an ancestral Basque percussion instrument, in a performance shaped by musical and cultural exchange. The line-up features flamenco guitar, a flamenco singer, a Basque singer, percussion and flamenco dance.
The different musical and stage elements meet in a distinctive arrangement. Txalaparta provides a striking rhythmic foundation, joined by guitar, vocals and flamenco dance. It is a considered choice for events looking for a performance that connects music and movement across traditions.
Arima moves away from a conventional flamenco format and can suit cultural events centred on dance, music and cultural exchange. It can also be considered for celebrations seeking a staged performance with several musical and dance elements.
