Basque indie rock band Belako pair guitars and punk energy with lyrics in Basque and English.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Belako are a Basque indie rock band featuring Cris Lizarraga, Lander Zalakain, and siblings Lore Nekane Billelabeitia and Josu Ximun Billelabeitia. Their name comes from the Mungia neighbourhood where they formed. Early influences from 1980s pop and rock developed into a sound shaped by more contemporary references.
Their lyrics are written in Basque or English. Songs in their catalogue include «Molly and Pete», «Sea of Confusion», «Tie Me Up», «Lungs», «Off Your Shoes» and «Render Me Numb». The band have released three studio albums, two EPs and eight singles. Their live history includes Primavera Sound, BBK Live, Low Festival and Sonorama, as well as shows outside Spain.
As an indie rock band, Belako are well suited to festivals, town celebrations and live music programmes. Their guitars and punk energy can also fit corporate events and private celebrations, including weddings looking for alternative rock.
