Bagassa are a covers band playing pop-rock in Catalan and Spanish. Their set draws on familiar songs that audiences can sing and dance along to, making them a live music option for celebrations looking for a popular, upbeat repertoire.
The usual line-up features Júlia on lead vocals and second guitar, Dani on guitar, Noah on bass, Joan on drums, and Alba on trumpet and backing vocals. For some performances, Juli joins on trombone and Alba D. on saxophone, adding a fuller brass section.
The band’s covers span Catalan and Spanish pop-rock. Artists represented in the repertoire include El Canto del Loco, Pereza, Els Pets and La Raíz, with well-known songs suited to a crowd-led party atmosphere.
Bagassa have performed at the Sant Celoni local festival and are taking part in the second stage of a competition in Hostalric. The musicians are aged between 18 and 23.
