Paintball is a complex strategy game in which participants use paintball guns to shoot paint balls at the players of the opposing team. Players hit by paint balls are eliminated, sometimes temporarily and sometimes permanently, depending on the format. Normally a match pits two teams against each other with the aim of eliminating all the players of the rival side or completing an objective (such as capturing a flag or eliminating a specific player).
