A full-scale show orchestra with a mobile stage, ten performers and music ranging from familiar classics to current hits.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Orquesta Ipanema is a show orchestra built around a mobile stage and a large-scale live production. Ten people appear on stage, bringing together singers, instrumentalists and performers who also take part in the choreography.
The group began in 1998 and has developed through several distinct stages. In 2003 it brought out a mobile stage that was then notable for its size in the orchestra scene; the structure was expanded and LED screens added in 2009. Brass players joined the line-up in 2011.
The show is arranged in two sets. The first focuses on dance-led spectacle, while the second raises the pace for audiences keen to keep dancing. The repertoire covers a range of styles, from familiar favourites to current songs.
The line-up includes piano and keyboards, guitar, drums and bass, alongside several vocalists and performers who also dance. The listed production includes Meyer Sound Line Array audio, moving lights and effects, followspot and LED panels. The mobile stage measures 20 × 12 × 12 metres, so the venue needs sufficient room for the structure and audience.
With its show format, two sets and mobile stage, Ipanema may suit local fiestas and verbena celebrations. Its suitability for weddings, corporate events and private parties can also be discussed in light of the venue and event requirements.
The fee depends on the date, location, performance format and technical requirements, including room for the mobile stage. Request a no-obligation quote within 24 hours and share the event details so the production can be considered.
