An eight-piece live orchestra covering music from the 1960s to today, with up to 120 songs in a performance.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Grupo Cougar is an eight-piece orchestra delivering a high-energy live show built around a chronological journey through popular music. The set begins with the 1960s and moves through to the present day, weaving current songs into the sequence.
A performance can feature up to 120 songs, drawing on Spanish and international artists including Fórmula V, Los Pecos, Toto, Phil Collins, Dire Straits, Karina, Tino Casal, Queen, Bon Jovi, Backstreet Boys, Christina Aguilera, Muse, Mago de Oz, Sergio Dalma, Ska-P and Marea. The production includes two stage trailers.
The project was founded in November 2012 by Marcos Justo, Alex Larraga and David Leal. The musicians and technicians also work with artists such as Maldita Nerea, Survivor, El Barrio, Camela and Chenoa, as well as pursuing their own projects and teaching at StudioPlay music school in Guadalajara.
The format suits town festivals and other events looking for a live covers show with songs spanning several generations. Its decade-by-decade structure brings older favourites together with more recent tracks.
