Zurkor play Basque-language metal-rock, combining original songs and covers in a live set of around an hour.
Zurkor are a five-piece metal-rock band from Bilbao, performing in Basque. Their line-up features two guitars, bass, drums and vocals, making them a strong choice for events looking for a full-band rock show. A set lasts around an hour and includes a sound technician.
The band’s repertoire brings together their own material and covers by other groups. Their influences include thrash metal names such as Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer, as well as metal bands Pantera, Su Ta Gar and Latzen. Zurkor’s original songs are in Basque.
Zurkor can fit festivals, music programmes and celebrations seeking a live metal performance. The five-piece format and approximate one-hour set make the band suitable as a featured act or as part of a programme with other groups.
