Ukrainian classical pianist with a wide-ranging repertoire and formats from solo recital to chamber music.
Yurii Kot is a professional classical pianist from Ukraine, with experience as a concert pianist, teacher, chamber ensemble soloist and accompanist. He can perform a solo recital, chamber music, a concerto with orchestra or a programme featuring improvisation.
His performances focus on the piano’s sound, technical command and the expression of each work. In lighter genres and improvisation, Kot explores a different range of styles and leaves room for spontaneity. His broad piano repertoire allows for a programme suited to the occasion.
The repertoire includes works by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann, Schubert, Liszt and Rachmaninov, among other composers. Kot can perform solo piano works, join chamber ensembles or play with an orchestra. Improvisation in various styles is also an option.
Live piano can provide a focused listening experience at weddings, celebrations and events in function rooms. The performance can use a grand piano, upright piano or electric piano, depending on the event’s requirements and the instrument available. Chamber music concerts and other concert settings are also suitable.
