A jazz quartet featuring saxophone, double bass, drums and piano, with a set tailored to your event.
Yiyo Roca’s Jazz Friends brings live jazz to celebrations and corporate gatherings. The core line-up is a quartet: Yiyo Roca on saxophone, Alfonso Fernández on double bass and bass guitar, Ismael Colón on drums and percussion, and Oscar Plazaola on piano and keyboards.
The band can perform as a quartet, with the option to add further musicians. Its set can be shaped around the needs of the occasion, moving between different jazz moods and rhythms. It can provide live music for a reception, meal or evening event.
The programme draws on jazz ballads, swing, bossa nova, samba and funk. Possible selections include “Body and Soul”, “Night and Day”, “Beautiful Love”, “Caravan”, “All of Me”, “Georgia”, “Chicken”, “Só Danço Samba” and “Chega de Saudade”.
This jazz band is suited to weddings, private celebrations, local fêtes and corporate events. Its experience across different kinds of occasion and adaptable repertoire make it possible to shape the musical format to the event. A 220 V power supply is required; the band can also provide sound equipment.
