Yapi blends afrobeat, trap and drill with Spanish and French lyrics, bringing a distinct urban sound shaped by his Cameroonian roots.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Yapi brings an urban live set shaped by his Cameroonian roots. His sound draws together afrobeat, trap and drill, with lyrics in Spanish and French. He suits parties, private events and corporate celebrations looking for a contemporary urban act.
His catalogue includes tracks such as “Chop”, “Killas” and “¿Dónde Te Escondes?”, the release that helped raise his profile. African rhythms meet current urban styles, giving the set a distinctive character for audiences who enjoy newer sounds.
Born in Madrid in 2005, Yapi has Cameroonian roots and builds a personal sound from African and urban influences. The use of both Spanish and French is a defining part of his music and can add a multilingual element to an event programme.
His music can work at public celebrations, private parties and corporate events seeking an urban performance. For weddings, he may suit couples who want to include afrobeat, trap or drill in the entertainment programme.
