A 14-piece street band with original arrangements, choreography, confetti and well-known songs for festivals and events.
Xaranga La Figarmònica brings together 14 musicians for a show that can take to the streets as a moving parade or be performed on stage. The format combines live music, movement and visual touches for celebrations that call for an upbeat performance.
The band mainly plays its own arrangements of well-known songs from different eras. These keep the tunes recognisable while adding the drive of a street band. Choreography, confetti and comic monologues can also feature alongside the live music.
With songs spanning several eras, the performance can suit local festivals, private events and celebrations such as weddings. A parade format can move through an event or enliven several areas, while a stage set keeps the performance in one place.
