A Llíria street band with professional musicians and over 20 years’ experience at festivals, parades and weddings.
Xaranga Alcalde Provenzal is a group from Llíria, made up of professional musicians associated with the town’s two major bands. With more than 20 years’ experience, it performs at a wide range of events. To find out the cost of booking the group, request a quote based on your date, location and chosen format.
The group began in 1996, when friends from the La Primitiva de Llíria Music Band came together to play at their local Fallas celebrations. It has since performed across Spain. The format suits parades, street processions, fiestas, religious processions and weddings. For a concert, chairs are required for the participating musicians.
The repertoire includes mambos, traditional songs and pop music. Its musical roots reflect Llíria’s celebrations, including Moors and Christians festivities, Fallas events, floats and town festivals. In 2006, it received first prize at the Requena Xaranga Festival, held as part of the Wine Festival.
The group can accompany weddings, town festivals, parades, processions, carnivals and fiestas. Its performances have included events in Mallorca, Valencia, Alicante, Jumilla, Almansa, Caravaca de la Cruz, Móstoles and Vilanova i la Geltrú.
