A four-piece Barcelona tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival, with classic songs and a stage look inspired by the early 1970s.
Willy & The Poorboys are a four-piece band from Barcelona paying tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival. Their live show recreates the sound and look associated with John Fogerty’s band, with a stage presentation inspired by its early 1970s performances. They suit events looking for a well-known American rock repertoire played by a full band.
The group follows Creedence’s classic line-up: lead vocals, guitar and harmonica; guitar and backing vocals; bass and backing vocals; and drums. Checked shirts, vintage-style instruments and a direct concert feel help shape the visual tribute. The band has released Creedence Clearwater Revival Tribute and continues to perform live.
The set draws on Creedence songs including “Proud Mary”, “Bad Moon Rising”, “Fortunate Son”, “Have You Ever Seen the Rain” and “Down on the Corner”, alongside other tracks from their repertoire. Guitar, harmonica, bass and drums deliver the material in a full-band format.
The show can work well at public festivals, concerts and celebrations where guests want to hear Creedence Clearwater Revival songs performed live. Sound and lighting equipment should be suitable for the venue, so share details of the space when discussing the event.
