A voice and guitar duo performing traditional and modern boleros, tangos and waltzes at events.
Volaverunt Boleros offers an intimate voice and guitar performance centred on the bolero. The singer and instrumentalist bring extensive musical experience and have appeared at international folk festivals. This pared-back duo keeps the focus on the vocals and an intricately played guitar, shaped by Latin American musical identity and distinctive harmonic touches.
The repertoire spans traditional and modern boleros, as well as tangos and waltzes. The simple format brings out the essence of the bolero, making it a good fit for occasions seeking live music led by voice and guitar. The group can be expanded for larger events.
Volaverunt Boleros can perform at weddings, private celebrations and other events looking for Latin American repertoire. The duo has sound equipment suitable for small venues and outdoor performances, and requires a stage.
