Claudio Ordoñez performs solo violin for weddings and events, with classical, pop, rock and film music in his repertoire.
Violín d'Or is the solo violin act of Claudio Ordoñez, a performer with over 15 years’ experience and classical training at Barcelona’s Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu. Live violin can accompany different points in an event, from a wedding ceremony or guests’ arrival to a drinks reception, gala dinner or private party.
The performance features solo violin and professional sound equipment. The repertoire ranges from classical works by Bach, Pachelbel, Vivaldi and Schubert to instrumental versions of pop and rock, film scores, jazz and lounge. Artists covered include Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Queen, Adele and Taylor Swift, alongside music associated with films such as Gladiator, La La Land and Titanic.
A special song outside the regular repertoire can be prepared if requested at least four weeks in advance. For outdoor performances, a covered or shaded area is needed to protect the instrument. The recommended performance space is around 2 × 2 metres on stable, level ground.
This violinist is a fitting choice for weddings, ceremonies, drinks receptions, gala dinners, corporate events and private celebrations. The music can take centre stage at a key moment or provide a quieter backdrop during a reception.
