Vindur Màlmur Quartet pairs three trombones, tuba and percussion across pop, rock, jazz and classical music.
Vindur Màlmur Quartet is a low brass ensemble for ceremonies, drinks receptions, wedding meals and other events. Its line-up of three trombones, tuba and percussion brings a distinctive sound to key moments or can take centre stage in a concert setting.
The quartet features Nicolás Portas Ricoy on tuba, Santiago Luis Vázquez Torres on bass trombone, and Oscar Tarrio Oubiña and Juan Portela Varela on trombone. Percussion is also part of the musical setup. The ensemble explores the range of low brass through varied repertoire.
