Discover Vienen de Jerez's talent in action
Vienen de Jerez is a Jerez zambomba group: popular Christmas carols, flamenco hand-clapping and the sound of the zambomba drum that fills the courtyards and streets of Jerez every December. Their standing is backed by the Teatro Villamarta, which has included them in its Christmas programme for the 2026-27 season.
The Jerez zambomba is one of Andalusia's best-loved Christmas traditions: a festive gathering where carols are sung with a flamenco feel, the zambomba is played and the audience ends up joining in with clapping and choruses. Vienen de Jerez brings that celebration to the stage with the authenticity of the town where it was born.
It is a warm, participatory show that works just as well in a theatre as in a town square, a courtyard or a banquet hall.
The Vienen de Jerez repertoire revolves around a Jerez Christmas:
Popular carols from the Jerez zambomba
Carols with flamenco rhythm, clapping and choruses
Traditional songs for the audience to sing along with the group
Municipal zambombas and town council Christmas programmes
Theatres and auditoriums during the Christmas season
Christmas light switch-ons and Christmas markets
Company lunches and dinners, hotels and private events
