Verchili pairs personal and social songwriting with electronic sounds, guitars, vocals, keyboards and programming.
Miguel Verchili’s current musical chapter is called “Distancias”. The singer and songwriter from Castellón writes heartfelt songs about personal experience and the society around him, now framed by a more electronic sound. The result suits events looking for a distinctive live rock performance.
Pere Safont and Víctor Tomás play guitar, Rosa Meseguer provides vocals, and María Iturralde contributes backing vocals and keyboards. Alfonso Pachés handles the backing tracks, Simmons SDX drums, keyboards, synthesisers, arrangements and programming. Together, these elements shape the sound of this period.
Early video singles from “Distancias” include “Pronombres personales”, “Malahierba”, “Distinto”, “No puedo contentar a todo el mundo” and “Nada”. They offer a sense of Verchili’s songwriting and the more electronic direction.
