Velvet Groove brings live saxophone with jazz and pop influences, adapting the music to the feel of each event.
Velvet Groove is saxophonist Javier Pastor’s solo project. He began his musical training at the age of eight and has played with various bands. His live saxophone set can accompany different parts of an event.
The performance can provide music for a drinks reception or banquet, as well as ceremonies, parties and corporate events. His experience as a DJ helps him read the room and adjust the music as the atmosphere develops.
The sound brings together jazz, soul, pop and electronic music, with jazz and indie pop influences. The repertoire includes tracks such as Baker Street, Careless Whisper, Corcovado, Despechá and California Dreaming.
Live saxophone works well at weddings, drinks receptions, banquets, ceremonies, private parties and company events where the music needs to suit the mood.
