A rock tribute to Miguel Ríos focused on the era of Rock & Ríos, the iconic live album recorded in 1982.
Tributo Miguel Ríos is a band tribute built around a particular chapter in the artist’s career: the period captured on Rock & Ríos, recorded live in June 1982. The show takes its cue from rock and roll and from the legacy of one of Spain’s best known rock artists.
The project began as an idea in 2010, with the final line-up established in January 2011. Its members had already played in other bands before coming together for this tribute.
The performance focuses on that distinct era of Miguel Ríos’ career. It suits audiences looking for a rock tribute with a clear connection to the sound and live recording of that album.
Consider it for town fiestas, private celebrations and corporate events seeking a Spanish rock tribute. It can also work at weddings with rock fans among the guests, or as part of a programme devoted to musical tributes.
