A Cuban trio of violin, double bass and guitar, playing jazz, bossa nova and Cuban music for a relaxed event atmosphere.
Tres Cuerdos is a Cuban trio with extensive musical experience, suited to events where live music should set the mood while guests talk and enjoy their meal. Violin, double bass and guitar create an acoustic sound designed to sit comfortably in the room.
The musicians can add vocals depending on the event. Their repertoire comprises around 25 to 30 pieces, spanning jazz standards, bossa nova, calypso and traditional Cuban music. They also arrange music, and their influences include Buena Vista Social Club and Sant Andreu Jazz Band.
The trio works well at weddings, drinks receptions, dinners and private or corporate celebrations looking for live background music. Their modern take on traditional dress can be adapted to the event and the weather. They require a 220 V power socket.
