Participatory theatre training for adults, with different levels, performing arts disciplines and guidance from working professional actors.
Tot Arts Teatre runs theatre courses and workshops for adults in Barcelona, from beginners to those looking to develop their acting practice. Sessions are arranged in small groups across different levels and schedules, and are led by professional actors currently working in the field.
Depending on the group, work can include improvisation, voice and diction, physical expression, script work, stage and screen scenes, physical theatre, clowning and character analysis. There are also opportunities to create short theatre pieces, develop full productions, study contemporary dance and take part in a regular theatre company. The approach is practical, collaborative and participatory.
Beginner and basic groups build theatrical skills through exercises involving play, imagination and creativity. Intermediate work can focus on character development and original creations. Theatre for stress relief is also offered.
The courses are designed for adults interested in the performing arts, whether or not they have previous experience. They provide a training and group activity format rather than a performance package for weddings or parties.
