Original flamenco guitar with singing, dance and percussion in a show lasting around 75 minutes.
Tomás Lorenzo presents a flamenco guitar performance featuring music composed by the guitarist himself. The line-up brings together guitar, singing, dance, percussion, bass and violin, performed by professional musicians with extensive experience. The show lasts around one hour and fifteen minutes, with a format that can be adapted to the event.
Fast and slow passages alternate to give the performance a varied pace. The repertoire draws on alegrías, bulerías, colombianas, siguiriyas, tarantas and farrucas. Guitar, palmas, percussion, voice and dance each bring a different element to the stage.
The Barcelona-born guitarist studied at ESMUC with teachers including Rafael Cañizares and Juan Manuel Cañizares. He has accompanied singers at the Tertulia Flamenca de Badalona and Granada’s Los Tarantos tablao. His work also includes the show De Carmen and live music for screenings of Blancanieves. Venues where he has performed include the Gran Teatre del Liceu, Teatro de la Zarzuela and Auditori de Barcelona.
The combination of guitar, singing and dance suits weddings, private celebrations, parties and corporate events looking for a multi-performer flamenco show. The duration and format can be adjusted to the client’s requirements.
