Solo acoustic blues from Jordi Llaurens, combining guitar, harmonicas, vocals and stomp box.
Jordi Llaurens performs solo acoustic blues as The Walking Stick Man. Born in Barcelona’s Gràcia neighbourhood, he has played clubs and festivals across Europe for more than 30 years. In 2010 he was named Artista Bluescat, recognising the best blues artist in Catalonia. His stage collaborations include James Harman, Hook Herrera, Keith Dunn and Paul Orta, and he has released seven blues albums.
The solo set brings together guitar, harmonicas and vocals, with a stomp box adding percussion. The result is a compact blues performance built around the idea of a «One man trio».
Acoustic blues is the focus of the show, delivered by a single musician using the instruments and voice in the format.
Consider this act for weddings, private celebrations, company events or parties looking for live music with a clear blues identity. The solo setup centres the performance on guitar, harmonicas, vocals and stomp box.
