Mallorca-based acoustic trio playing rock, indie and pop covers, available as a duo or trio for events.
The Mandrills are an acoustic act based in Mallorca, formed in 2012. They have more than 15 years of experience playing weddings, private parties and corporate events. You can book them as a trio or, for intimate occasions and smaller spaces, as a duo.
Their live acoustic show combines vocals, bass, guitars, vocal harmonies and drums, with a strong rock feel. The trio consists of Rafael González on vocals and bass, Alberto Domínguez on guitar and vocals, and José Velasco on drums. They use professional high-end equipment; their standard package includes a PA system and lighting synchronised with the music.
The set blends rock, indie, pop and pop-punk, with acoustic covers of Queen, U2, Muse, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Bryan Adams and other artists. It also features current pop hits, with songs by Rihanna and Britney Spears among the possibilities.
The flexible line-up suits weddings, private celebrations and corporate events, from smaller gatherings to occasions calling for an energetic live set. Guitars, vocals and a solid rhythm section create a distinctive sound alongside a carefully planned production.
