Seventies classic rock from two guitars, bass, drums and vocals, with faithful covers and backing vocals.
The FarTones bring classic seventies rock to the stage as a five-piece band with two guitars, bass, drums and vocals. The musicians have each spent more than twenty years in the music scene, giving them an assured feel for the material.
The band plays its covers with a strong respect for the original recordings and adds backing vocals. The set focuses mainly on rock from the 1970s, with a few more recent songs. Their references include Grand Funk, Black Sabbath, Free, Cream, Neil Young, Deep Purple, Ramones and Kiss.
Their live format suits local festivals, private celebrations, weddings and corporate events looking for a classic rock band. Two guitars, a rhythm section and vocals make for a concert-style performance centred on well-known songs from the genre.
